FOUNDER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR
With a past life that spans strategy, production and creative, Anshuma Lal founded Human Made NY in 2017 to build brands with thought, relevance and style.
Anshuma’s earlier experiences had her at some of the most prestigious organizations in the world, honing her critical thinking and creativity skills. She launched her career in strategy amongst L.E.K. Consulting’s international offices of Chicago, London, Sydney and Melbourne, receiving a crash course in how to solve for complex problems facing major industries. Later, she sat front row to the growth of a nation when she moved to India in 2005 to report to the Mumbai business bureau for New Delhi Television. In 2007, as the Indian economy continued to flourish, she was invited to join the founding team of Condé Nast India and helped launch Vogue India. Ultimately, her passion for solving problems and thoughtful design led her to become Group Creative Director for the real estate branding agency, Williams New York.
Today, Anshuma is at home leading her team at Human Made NY, creating campaigns for hospitality, design and fashion clients. When she isn’t working, she fully embraces the human experience through travel, and by spending time with the people she loves.
